Airlie - Grangewilliam Stud
Airlie - Grangewilliam is located near Maynooth, all mares during the season are foaled here. Airlie graduates foaled here
in recent years include Petrushka, CD Europe, Kingsmill and Dollar Bird. The farm is managed by Anthony Rogers who
returned to Ireland three years ago having worked with horses in Kentucky, New South Wales and California.
Simmonstown Stud is the home of Docksider and Desert Story. This farm is managed by Michael Flynn who has worked at Airlie for 35 years. His son Jonathan looks after the stallions. Simmonstown Stud is situated just outside Celbridge and has full boarding possibilities and a quarantine yard.
Built by Sonia Rogers in 1985 solely for yearlings. This stud has room for about 40 yearlings, with two American style barns and an isolation yard. It has two indoor and two outdoor lunging rings, a walking machine and a purpose built all-weather outdoor walk. Airlie has been a top consignee in all major European sales over the past twenty-five years. Martin Honniball is manager of Kilmacredock and takes great pride in producing the yearlings, treating each one as an individual.
